A Cozy December Newborn Session

December brought with it so many sweet moments, but one of the dearest highlights for me was getting to capture a newborn family session for our friends Aaron and Emma, and their newest little love, baby Teddy.

Teddy made his entrance into the world a little earlier than expected, arriving swiftly on Thanksgiving Day. Talk about the best surprise! His early arrival was the sweetest gift, and it's been such a joy to watch Aaron and Emma embrace parenthood with such grace and love.

These two are dear friends that my husband and I have had the joy of getting to know since moving to Pennsylvania. They, too, recently moved to the area, and we quickly bonded over our shared faith, love of coffee (always!), and being in such similar seasons of life. There’s something so comforting about finding people who just get you, and our friendship with them has been such a gift.

When I stepped into their home for the session, I was immediately in love with Teddy’s nursery. It's goose-themed (SO CUTE), full of thoughtful, cozy details that feel like a hug in room form. Every little touch reflected their love for their boy and created the perfect backdrop for some intimate in-home moments.

Of course, we couldn’t leave out their other babies, Archie and Ella 🐾 who were more than happy to join in on the fun. I love when families include their pets in sessions because, let’s be honest, they’re part of the story too.

It was such an honor to capture this season for a family that has already become so special to us. Teddy, you are deeply loved and your parents (and dog siblings!) are absolutely head over heels for you too.
